A very busy day!

Today we went and saw the Pediatric Cardiologist. I have a innocent heart murmur. It is the best heart murmur to have. The doctor was very thorough. I had an EKG and Ultrasound. I am now 11 pounds 4 ounces and still 22 inches. The doctor said that everything is fine. I probably have my heart murmur because I was born early. He said there was no need for follow up unless my doctor feels a need for it.

We also went and got my birth certificate while we were in Pasadena.

Then to end my day I got my ears pierced. I cried a little but I am fine. Mommy and Grandma took me. Daddy wanted to get it done but did not want to see it done. He did not want to see me cry. I am OK though. I got pretty pink flowers.

Today I got to play with my activity center. I loved it. I most enjoyed the light up star. I was even hitting and kicking the toys.

2 month check up!

We had the two month check up today. Mya weighs in at 10 pounds 9.5 ounces. She is measuring at 22 inches and her head is 15 inches. The doctor found a heart murmur and we are going to the pediatric cardiologist next Tuesday to have that checked on. She also got her shots today. So far so good. She is just sleepy.

Labor Day and Nana and Papa's!

My Nana and Papa had their annual Labor Day party. It was very fun. I got to meet more new friends and family including my cousins Max and Emily. Grandma and Grandpa were there too. I got to have a brief sleep over with Kirsten in Molly's room. This was also the first time that I went to Nana and Papa's house. Before the party I got to nap with Papa. I got to hear Papa, Uncle Brian and Uncle Mario play music. I slept through most of that though. It was a nice time, the weather was nice. Next year hopefully I will be walking.

Mya is 2 months old!

I am now 2 months old. I now weigh 10 pounds exactly. This month has been a busy month for me as I have gone to two family reunions, Jack's 1st birthday, Reianna's 6th birthday party and has even dipped my feet in the pool. I am now fully in size Newborn clothes and Mommy opened our first pack of size 1 diapers today. I have also starting to Coo quite a bit now. For my 2 month birthday Mommy and Daddy took me to the park to play (and sleep).

Mya's first swim!

Today Mommy and Daddy took me for my first dip in the pool, and that is all it was, a dip. I only dipped my foot in. I was more interested in my Binky and sleeping then swimming. Mommy and Daddy hope to try one more time before summer is over, we will see though. At least my swimsuit fit. I think Mommy spent more time getting me ready (swimsuit, sun block, hat and towel) then I actually spent outside. It is OK Mommy loves me and that's why she does these things for me.

My first family reunion(s)

August 16, 2008- Mommy, Daddy and I went to the Gutierrez and Arreaga Family Reunions today. I got to meet a lot of family I have not met, including my Uncle Tim. He is a big guy! I also got to meet my cousin Meg who is going to have a baby soon just like me and Kirsten. At the Arreaga reunion I got to meet lots of cousins there too. Like Warren, Dominic, Diego, Desiree, Melissa who is also going to have a baby. It was a very fun but long day. I was a good girl all day long. I love when I get to see my family. Mommy will post pictures of the Arreaga Reunion when she gets them downloaded.
